If the house in question is being constructed, the appraiser still needs to analyze the property and construction site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The official appraisal report will contain a list of \u201cobservable repairs that need to be completed.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>This report will also contain a list of \u201ccustomer preference items to be installed.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A few small issues with the property won\u2019t immediately disqualify it, but a lot of small issues or a few big issues may.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>VA loan limits are also an important factor when it comes to taking out a loan.\u00a0Accross most of the US the limit is\u00a0$417,000.<\/p>\n<p>To check what the VA county loan limits are for each county in the United States, you can visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.benefits.va.gov\/homeloans\/docs\/2011_county_loan_limits.pdf\">their loan limit website<\/a>. For counties that are not listed on the website, the official VA loan limit is automatically set at $417,000.<\/p>\n<p>Now, if the value of the home you want to purchase is greater than your county loan limit, don\u2019t worry.
